This sconce is directly inspired by the chandelier on display at the Hermitage Palace in St. Petersburg. The finesse of its ornamentation makes it a very pretty piece. The horn-shaped arms, adorned with oak leaves, support a flat dish on which a candelabra and four candleholders offer five lights. The alternating curves and rectilinear movements create a balanced composition, rich in detail.
