This wall lamp illustrates with elegance the refinement of the decorative arts of the nineteenth century.
Apposed on a large light plate, five curved arms, emerging from a foliage, come to support a flat cup and a rimmed wick. Foliage and cups are decorated with an assembly of two crystal pendants that follow one another, first a small octagonal ball, then a pampille.
Three laces of crystal beads lead to the upper floor, a shell from which five strands of lilac with the same ornaments escape.
This model recalls the chandelier with 24 lights dating from the eighteenth century exhibited at the Magnin National Museum in Dijon.
Nevertheless, the play of light and transparency are more exacerbated on our wall lamp thanks to the polished bronze plate.
