Beautiful 8-arm light fixture. At the end of this chandelier, a twisted gadrooned finial ending in a bunch of grapes is topped with shells and scrolls.
Braided arms are separated by female masks. The base supporting the arms is divinely crafted with panels depicting a bow and quiver crossing each other.
Above, mischievous Bacchus figures with lion feet form a small cage around the axis, and at the top, the cap forms a basket of leaves. This “Mazarin” model is inspired by the chandelier created by Ernest Mottheau, who was himself inspired by André Charles Boulle, both exceptional bronze artists.
