This wall lamp is inspired by a very famous model of the XVIIIth century, enormously copied, made by Jacques Caffieri.
Many bronze and goldsmiths participated in the fame of the model by producing new variations, like François Germain, Justin Aurèle Meissonier, Romain Girard or Nicolas Pineau.
This model is composed of a set of scrolls and foliage intermingled with six asymmetrical arms of light, themselves covered with plant ornaments.
A cup in the shape of petals and flower buds complete the composition.
The serpentine curves and opulence of the rocaille style are found here in a model of greater magnitude than its originals.
