A handsome sconce in the Louis XVI style, mid 19th century. The sconce has a circular backplate with a Coeur de Rai pattern, surrounding a reeded design, ending with acanthus leaves. The arm extending to the saucer has a fluted design with chandelles and leads to the square block. The block is decorated by richly chased rosettes with a bottom finial. The circular saucer has a beaded border edge.
